PABLO QUINTANA BARCIA
Pablo José Quintana Barcia was born in Spain in 1987.
He received the B.S degree in electronics engineering and the M.S.degree in Electrical Energy Conversion and Power Systems from the University of Oviedo, Gijón, Spain, in 2011 and 2013, respectively.
He is currently doing the Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Computers supported by the research group: Efficient Energy Conversion, Industrial Electronics and Lighting (ce3i2 group) .
His research interests include modeling and control of islanded and grid-connected converters, control and development of microgrids, power quality and integration of renewable energies in lamposts in order to have autonomous streetlamps.
Currently working in his PhD thesis: Systems of high efficiency lighting with generation capacity and energy storage, autonomous operation and supply power to the grid (ENERLIGHT project)
